Halloween Howl is a special one-day event centred around Avro Vulcan XH558, the last Vulcan to fly.

The centrepiece of the event will be the opportunity to experience XH558's four Rolls-Royce Olympus engines running to full power, including the famous Vulcan howl.
There will also be a wide range of attractions and displays across the airport apron, including classic and military vehicles, heritage organisations, aircraft-related exhibits, emergency service vehicles, re-enactors and family entertainment.

Planned attractions include groups such as Task Force 1982, UK Garrison and Rebel Legion Star Wars characters, Yorkshire Ghostbusters, the Charity Dalek Squad, military vehicle displays, transport heritage organisations, aircraft cockpits and a range of other exhibitors.

The aim is to create much more than an engine run, with a full Halloween-themed family event taking place around XH558.
